Paul Mikus is a medical device entrepreneur who has started over a half a dozen innovative medical technologies. Paul holds a Bachelors in Electronic Engineering, a Masters in Divinity and Doctorate in Theology. He has co-authored 11 peer reviewed papers and has over 40 issued patents in the field of medical device innovation.
Paul founded Origen Medical as an incubator to work with and launch new medical device technologies. He works with both private and public companies including Misonix Inc, ultrasonic therapeutic platforms, and Inter Science, a non thermal permeabilization of cells in combination with electrolysis for precision ablation. He currently serves as a board member and Chief Technical Officer of Inter Science in addition to his duties as President and CEO of PolarisAR.

Aaron brings over 15 years of software engineering experience in a variety of disciplines, such as computer vision, signal processing, 3D rendering, numerical optimization, programming languages, networking protocols and cellular planning. He holds a MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas, and has worked primarily in the CAD/CAM, medical, and telecom industries.

Brendan has 4 years of software programming experience, specifically in x-ray computed tomography devices for radiographic imaging. He has programmed both user-facing applications using C# with Unity and embedded software components. He currently holds his associate degree in game programming and is actively pursuing his bachelor's degree in mathematics. His experience includes DICOM image storage and communication, system-level state management, and CT image reconstruction.
Staff Software Engineer
Winona has 6 years' software experience programing computer vision solutions for biomedical problems. Her PhD at Vanderbilt University focused on surgical guidance leveraging stereo cameras for soft tissue tracking and medical imaging for patient-specific 3D modeling. She has developed algorithms and interfaces for intraoperative guidance in liver, brain, and breast surgeries with clinical experience integrating guidance systems into surgical workflows.
